Character shrines have always been something I've been passionate about, even though I admit that they do take up a majority of my time. Sometimes when I'm just sitting around, be it in class or lying on the couch, I might come up with an idea to add to my shrine, or in rare cases, some sort of epiphany. In fact, I have a few notebooks filled with shrine ideas; I used to carry one daily to class just in case I happened to come across an idea that I might forget on my way back home.

I originally made personal sites, which was fun and all, but I found it much more interesting to write about characters instead. For games, I stick rather close to the Square-Enix realm for security issues (become adventurous, I dare not!), and anime revloves around the shounen genre. For some reason, I tend to pick characters who are stuck in a mediocre plot-line. There are exceptions though, but for the most part, yeah. I think if I did play a game or watch a series with a good storyline, it would outshadow all of the characters, and I wouldn't be able to pick an absolute favorite (see: Final Fantasy VII and Bleach). My favorite archetype is the antihero, which one my sites is named shamlessly after. Yes, they might hate the world and be angsty, possibly emo-like, but I like them. I am too overtly happy for my own good, and opposites attract, so eat my shorts, world! I also enjoy antiheroes in literature, such as Severus Snape and Hamlet, but those would need more space to talk about.

Each of all the shrines are crammed into one gallery, so I appologize for the difficulty of shuffling. They are organized by name, version, and then year.
